In the great tradition of animal based juvenile fiction this story shines. A pet store whose inhabitants are a really great group of characters that range from dramatic to honorable to down right mean, there is such fun getting to know them. Who knew a guinea pig's life could be that entertaining! Adorable and adventurous. Bravo!

This story is a thrill ride with a combination of Indiana Jones and Aladdin. Hannah is a feisty and courageous young woman and her character really explores some depth for a teen dealing with death and the fear of letting go. There are a number of moments that touch on a darker side yet reminds us of the classic good verses evil and how it triumphs in the end. This is easily a new fantasy series to adore.

Loved this book! The type of book that absolutely should become a movie, full of action and humor with a really good foundation and back story.
This story is a wonderful blend of romance and fairy tale, with a little seasoning from Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella and Phantom of the Opera. Definitely not the children's version either! Isabelle Rose is the sweet and lovely heroine that captures your heart right away. Adam Delacroix and Raphael Dumont are both despicable characters but as you read further Adam's finer qualities shine and soon wins you over. Lot's of sexy and steamy scenes with a touch of a historic gothic element, this is a must read!

With this cute and colourful picture book, anytime is a good time to count your chickens! There is so much fun depicted on each page, with adorable characters to discover, is it is quite easy to engage a child while reading and allow their imagination to roam free. Counting fun at it's best.
